Leading global business finance provider Bibby Financial Services has announced that its Canada team has been bolstered with the appointment of Bobby Lall as managing director. Bibby Financial Services Canada recently announced its 2009 financial results, with client turnover and the amount of funding made available to businesses growing at 4.5 per cent and 7.5 per cent respectively, year-on-year. Lall has been given responsibility for maintaining this growth and will place emphasis on expanding Bibby Financial Services’ accounts receivables offering to small and medium-sized businesses. Lall, who joined Bibby Financial Services in 2002, was most recently managing director of their Slough office in the UK. Prior to that, he worked for an asset based lender on a variety of cash flow solutions, with Lloyds TSB’s commercial finance arm, and practiced as an accountant. Commenting on his appointment, Lall said: “Bibby Financial Services Canada has demonstrated outstanding growth in what have been exceptionally tough trading conditions. We now have a fantastic opportunity to support Canadian businesses as they return to growth, offering financial solutions tailored across every part of the business lifecycle – start up, growth, restructuring and/or seasonal business.” (Source - Bibby Press Release) |
