Experian announces details of its 9th International Telecom Forum 2014 Print E-mail

Nottingham, UK, 27 May 2014 - Experian®, the global information services company, has announced details of its 9th annual Experian International Telecom Forum, taking place this year in Rome on 12th and 13st June.

The two-day global conference will bring together senior international credit risk, fraud and marketing professionals from telecommunication industries across the world.  They will explore current and future challenges in risk management, fraud prevention and marketing.

As in previous years, the successful forum promises to be an influential platform for the strategies and new ideas that are setting industry trends, with keynotes and presentations from experts across the telecoms sector.

Highlights from this year’s conference include:

·        Bill Tancer, Head of Global Research at Experian Marketing Services , who will discuss how the future role of Telco operators depends on building relevant experiences for their customers and gaining customer intimacy, and how understanding customer behaviour has a direct impact on loyalty, service demand, risk and overall profitability.

·        Robert Kirkpatrick, Director of United Nations Global Pulse, who will talk about how Big Data and real-time analytics technologies can provide valuable insights for global development and humanitarian action; and how the private sector can play a role in transforming Big Data into public good.
There will be case studies and workshops, as well as parallel interactive sessions, run by leading market players, including Vodafone Portugal, Telecom Italia, Phones4U, KPN, Telefonica, Turkcell, MobiFone Vietnamese, Vodafone Italia, Avea and Onecall/Tele2.
