Survey: 2 in 5 Americans Use Mobile Banking Monthly

WASHINGTON — Two in five Americans (39 percent) use a mobile device to manage their bank account at least once per month and nearly half of mobile device owners (45 percent) do so, according to a recent survey by the American Bankers Association (ABA).

Survey: Most Americans Pay Nothing for Bank Services

WASHINGTON — The majority of Americans—61 percent—pay nothing at all for bank services such as checking account maintenance and ATM access, according to a recent survey by the American Bankers Association (ABA). Most bank customers (72 percent) spend $3 or less in monthly fees—less than the cost of a gallon of milk.

Tieto and Ukrainian Processing Center launch cross-border acquiring in the EU member states

Tieto and Ukrainian Processing Center (UPC) have implemented an end-to-end solution for connecting acquiring banks to the new Card Suite platform. This solution is designed for providing services to international merchants in the countries of the European Union. The service was launched in Poland, followed by merchants in Austria and Slovakia. Another project is in progress in Croatia.

ChildFund International (ChildFund), a global child protection organisation, has selected software from Advanced Business Solutions US (Advanced) to automate its budgeting and forecasting, saving up to six days every quarter. ChildFund went live with Collaborative Planning at its headquarters in May 2015 and is rolling out the solution to its 36 global offices over the next three years.
